Tuesday May 24th 2022 – Salcombe to Torcross
Day 4 of this year’s trek will see us on a coast path walk from Salcombe to Torcross. We will start with a ferry Crossing at Salcombe before moving on South and then South-East towards Prawle Point. The lookout station here is the at the southern-most point in Devonshire.
There may be a coffee bar near here, but if not we could take a short detour into East Prawle from Sharpers Head. After coffee will head Eastward (more-or-less) to Start Point where the coastline turns Northward. A great viewing point here and we should be able to see a good length of coastline all the way to Dartmouth. One more stop for refreshments at Hallsands or Beesands before pressing on to Torcross.
